MUST READ|EDITOR’S BLOG|Another portion of Super Abundance Grace…..part 2!

This is part two of a review of Super Abundance Grace by Sandra Nelson. Click here to read part 1.

Once I read ‘Super Abundance Grace’ I followed Deaconess’s instructions to pray to God. I did so with such an intense amount of trust that something was going to change. Sandra had promised me that  everything would turn around for me….

I decided to pray and whilst doing so I put my heart into trusting that there was indeed a God and that he would do what he said and come through!  I let go of my worry for my financial situation and decided to trust that God would stand by me.

I did not see an immediate transformation and neither did anything dramatic occur! However, I had read the book and been reminded of the transformation within the lives of the other women who had felt God’s presence in their lives.  Sandra’s book showcases many stories of hope from the Bible, as well as from women she has come into contact with in her own walk through life.

I read the story of Elizabeth and Mary’s fellowship and was thankful to have found somebody so special to share my testimony with. I still feel lucky to have met such a warm and approachable ‘woman of God’ that is Sandra Nelson; for even when I do not have the chance to speak to her directly, I hear her kind words of encouragement in my mind and they strengthen me.

The first chapter of ‘Super Abundance Grace,’ speaks about this beautiful friendship between Mary and Elizabeth.  “Both Elizabeth and Mary were walking testimonies. When we read their stories in the Bible, we see how they became pregnant supernaturally, by the power of the Holy Ghost.”

When Mary found herself pregnant, she had to choose carefully who to share this news with.

“Mary chose to share her testimony with Elizabeth; any other person that she would have told at the time would have doubted her, but because Elizabeth was also supernaturally pregnant, she was the perfect companion for Mary.”

This entire chapter was a revelation of how fortunate I was to have the right person to share my problems with! (Sandra) She encouraged me to let go of my situations and hand it to higher powers. (God) Furthermore, I realised that indeed miracles could take place. If both Elizabeth and Mary could have received the wonderful blessing of a child – something that so many women long for, I too could be blessed! I felt compelled to believe…..

The more I read ‘Super Abundance Grace,’ the more I felt strengthened by the grace which Sandra speaks of.  As she reveals what Grace is according to God’s word, Sandra proceeds to empower every woman. She reminds us that we are all stars and that we must twinkle brightly!

Never has Rhihanna’s rendition of ‘Shine bright like a diamond’ meant more than at such a time as this!

In her chapter ‘We are Stars,’ Sandra tells us “we are light givers and shining stars in our own right. People ought to be happy to see us.” She uses a Biblical reference from John 1, verse 4-5 to remind us.  “In Him was life and that life was the light of man, His light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. ”
